We are proud to announce our support for the inspiring "We Are Undefeatable" campaign. This initiative, backed by 15 leading health and social care charities and Sport England, is dedicated to assisting people with a range of long-term health conditions in finding unique, manageable ways to stay active.
“We Are Undefeatable” has been developed by 15 health charities, along with National Lottery funding and expertise from Sport England, to support and inspire people with health conditions to be active in a way that works for them. The charities bring together people with a wide variety of conditions, such as arthritis, diabetes, dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, cancer, stroke, and lung, heart and mental health conditions.
The campaign aims to:
The ethos of "We Are Undefeatable" aligns directly with our mission at Steady On Your Feet. Their approach to acknowledging the day-to-day variations in how people feel, and the idea that every small step is a victory sits perfectly with our work in falls prevention. As official supporters, we are excited to integrate "We Are Undefeatable" content resources across our falls prevention and healthy ageing platform.
Our collaboration with "We Are Undefeatable" extends beyond content sharing. We're committed to promoting the campaign's message to our clients and the broader community of ageing adults who use our platform. Our aim is that this partnership and the resources developed will provide our users with additional motivation and support to stay active in ways that suit their individual health conditions and circumstances.
By aligning with "We Are Undefeatable", we are enhancing our commitment to supporting older adults and ageing individuals. Together, we aim to inspire and empower people to find their own ways to be active, however small those steps may be.
Alongside our recent partnership with Move It or Lose It, our support for the campaign will see us integrate the "We Are Undefeatable" ethos, videos and resources into our platforms and help to change the narrative around healthy ageing and activity.
